The court case against Omah Lay and Tems has been adjourned according to reports and the two taken to different prisons in Uganda.

The Ugandan Police force which arrested two breakout stars yesterday due to their performance in the country charged them to court today.


According to a Ugandan Twitter Influencer, the court has adjourned the case till the 16th of December and Omah lay is to be imprisoned at Kitalya prison while Tems would be at Kigo prison.




The Nigerian fast-rising stars were earlier arrested by police officers in Kampala, Uganda capital for flouting COVID-19 guidelines.



They were arrested after performing on Saturday night at a concert held in Speke Resort, Wavamunno Road, Kampala, Uganda.7HUBENT NEWS

Assistant Superintendent of Police and Deputy Police Spokesperson, Kampala Metropolitan Police, Luk Owoyesigyire confirmed their arrest in a tweet on Sunday.7HUBENT NEWS


“Nigerian Artist Omah lay has been arrested by Katwe police, the manager of the venue one Dungu Ivan and the Events manager Prim Kasana are also in custody.7HUBENT NEWS


“Temilade Openiyi Aka Ms Tems (Artist) also been arrested with her manager Muyiwa Awomiyi,” the police boss said on Twitter. 7HUBENT NEWS
